Reading Assignment Review

This post is in response to the assigned reading, and I hope I am posting in the right place.  Sorry if I am not!  The article was very interesting a slightly intimidating.  It shows how easily a message a designer might be trying to portray may be misunderstood.  It also shows the importance of designers and the struggle and talent it takes for designers and artists to successfully influence a large audience.  I now understand more clearly different ways of displaying information such as icons, indices, symbols, meta symbols, and signs.  I also really liked the comic at the end of the article.
